Mad Art is more than hip. It’s historic, it’s elegant, and it’s the project of a lifetime for local artist Ron Buechele. The gallery is in a circa-1930s police station that Ron restored from the bottom up. The front gallery halls are definitive Art Deco. The long marble and terrazzo hallways spill into the former squad car garage, which is now beautifully renovated and serves as a 3800 square-foot industrial gallery space with state of the art lighting and four artful bathrooms. This main gallery is perfect for sit-down dinners of up to 250 or cocktail parties of up to approximately 500.
Superb Catering Services
Mad Art Gallery offers superb in-house catering. Executive Chef David Lewis prepares artful cuisine and will work with you to plan a menu specifically tailored to your event. When possible, our chef uses organic and locally produced ingredients. All food is prepared on the premises which means your guests receive the freshest possible product. Our in-house catering provides exceptional cuisine, impeccable service, and stylish presentation.

In-House Beverage Services
Mad Art provides full bar services for events in our facility. This means experienced and highly trained individuals dedicated to Mad Art’s high standards will staff your bar. We have a customizable beverage structure with high caliber products.
Outstanding Amenities
Mad Art offers several outstanding amenities to our clients. Many are included as part of our rental packages, some are optional add-ons, allowing you flexibility in planning your event. Some of these amenities include:
Tables and Chairs
All clients may use our tables and chairs, including 60" rounds (seating 8-10 guests), bistro tables (seating 4 guests), and cocktail tables (standing). Our rental package includes our classic wooden folding chairs.
Courtyard
All clients are able to utilize our beautiful courtyard, weather permitting. Even in cold weather, guests inside the main gallery can view the courtyard through our magnificent glass garage door.
Fireplace
Our outdoor fireplace provides lovely ambience for evening events and is included in our rental package.
