Mad Art Gallery is proud to welcome back The Ditty Bops. With voices as sweet as honey and harmonies to match, the Ditty Bops call their shows "pagan-vaudeville." Accompanied by guitar, mandolin, piano, fiddle, stand-up bass, their music blends ragtime, western swing, bluegrass, and folk.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show begins at 8:00 p.m. All ages. Tickets are $15 in advance ($17 at the door) and available through Event Brite at http://madart-dittybops.eventbrite.com/. Cash bar available.
Mad Art Gallery is also proud to present Strawfoot. Dirge-Country pioneers, Strawfoot, bring a dark sound of candy-coated salvation and eternal hellfire and damnation to the public with haunting cautionary tales of outlaw scarecrows, wayward preachers, falling pianos, and the devil. Formed in the summer of 2005, Strawfoot creates an original sound steeped in the rich, dark history of America and beyond. Fronted by a crazed and angry preacher, Strawfoot is a seven-piece band consisting of violin, banjo, harmonica, upright bass, guitar, percussion and the occasional mandolin and accordian. Strawfoot has quickly become a fan favorite wherever they take the stage, gaining fans across America and abroad.
