Mad Art Gallery is proud to present a screening of the film, Invisible Children. This is a remarkable film about the plight of child soldiers and night commuters in northern Uganda. The documentary was filmed in 2003 when three students from Southern California, Jason Russell, Bobby Bailey and Laren Poole (then ages 24, 21, and 20), traveled to Sudan to find a story.

Convivial Pursuit, a friendly game of food trivia to benefit Slow Food St. Louis, will take place Saturday, March 22, from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Admission is $20 per person for tables of 8-10 players. QFEST utilizes the art of contemporary gay cinema to spotlight the diversity and inherent complexities of living an alterative lifestyle in today's society. QFEST begins on Wednesday, March 12, at Mad Art Gallery with an evening of hilarious and provocative short subjects hosted by guest film maker Lisa Ganser. Bill Streeter works tirelessly to bring you the best of St. Louis arts, culture and music through his internationally recognized and award-winning video podcast, Lo-Fi Saint Louis. We at Mad Art Gallery are unabashed fans of Streeter and invite you to celebrate the launch of Lo-Fi's new, seasonal episode format. Streeter hits the reset button on Lo-Fi Saint Louis on Monday, March 3, and we are celebrating with a party on Saturday, March 8. The evening will feature video screenings, live performances by St. Louis rock bands, the Helium Tapes and the 75s, and lot of surprises. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. Admission is $6.00 at the door.

Tompkins, sketch and improv from The Non-Prophet Theatre Company, The Fingerbreaker Brothers, Brand X, East County and more surprises. Tickets are $10 and include 2 free drinks.

Mad Art Gallery is proud to welcome Echolocation Recordings as they present BioSonar, their inaugural festival featuring dozens of regional artists from the improv, experimental, electroacoustic, free, deep listening, eclectic, concrete, new music, avant garde, noise, drone, field recording, and lowercase genres, along with some music that cannot be categorized. Regional artists will also present literature and video art. To make the day complete, Echolocation invites you to join in the potluck indoor picnic. Bring your blanket and stretch out to enjoy the various approaches to non-traditional music while you dine on potluck delights provided by Echolocation and audience members. Apop Records, located on Cherokee Street in St. Louis, will be on hand with a selection of music available for purchase. This festival is like no other that has ever been held in St. Louis, and it promises to be a great event.
