Mad Art Gallery presents Experimental Art Thursdays. On the second Thursday of each month, Mad Art Gallery opens its doors to all local artists and audiences for a unique art experience. Experimental Art Thursdays (E.A.T.) provides a platform for artists and art audiences to socialize, network, discuss, collaborate, and experiment with art from all disciplines. E.A.T. invites artists to present their current projects, ideas, and initiatives in an informal setting. Rather than focusing on the output, E.A.T. emphasizes the artistic process. Bring your current project to Experimental Art Thursday. See what other artists are creating. Receive commentary on your work. Gain new perspective from a gathering of diverse and creative people. E.A.T. welcomes performances, poetry, readings, music, theater, film, and visual art. E.A.T. also provides a unique art experience for art audiences. This is the audience's opportunity to view work in progress, talk to artists about their process, and experience art that may not otherwise be shown in St. Louis. Come and see what happens when people from multiple disciplines collaborate. Creative people and ideas converge at Mad Art Gallery the second Thursday of each month from 8:00 p.m. to 12 midnight for Experimental Art Thursdays. Admission is free with a cash bar available.
